THE FINAL LAP

On Sunday, August 23, 2026, The Final Lap – the last Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix – will take place at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort, famously known as the Dune Circuit. For this historic edition, DS COVERS is proud to sponsor the Drivers Parade by SpykerEnthusiast. A unique collaboration that brings together craftsmanship, a passion for automobiles, and a remarkable piece of Dutch motorsport history.

For The Final Lap at Circuit Zandvoort, DS COVERS, in collaboration with SpykerEnthusiast, has developed 22 fully tailor-made car covers for 22 unique Spyker C8 Spyders. During the Drivers Parade, the 22 Formula 1 drivers will be driven around the circuit in these iconic Dutch sports cars. Until that moment, the cars remain protected beneath car covers specially developed for this unique project.

A perfectly fitting car cover always starts with the car itself. That’s why we hand-measured the Spyker C8 Spyder and developed an entirely new cover pattern. Each cover is then handcrafted and finished in our workshop, including unique details created exclusively for this special project.

Who is SpykerEnthusiast?

SpykerEnthusiast was founded more than eleven years ago by Jasper den Dopper, following the purchase of his very first Spyker.

When it became clear that there was virtually no after-sales network capable of supplying parts for these cars, he decided to build one himself. What started with manufacturing replacement parts has since grown into a globally recognized specialist dedicated exclusively to Spyker.

Today, Spyker Enthusiast specializes in parts manufacturing, restorations, technical maintenance, and everything required to preserve these iconic Dutch sports cars for future generations.
