Yes. The EAGLE II bike rack cover can be fully closed on all sides, providing optimal protection for your bikes against rain, dirt, mud, road salt and splashing water while driving. The rear and bottom of the cover feature Velcro-fastened openings for the frame clamps and wheel straps. This allows the cover to remain as fully enclosed as possible while your bikes are securely attached to the bike rack.

Yes. First, place the open cover over the bike rack and then position the bikes inside the cover. Secure the bikes to the bike rack, simply guiding the frame clamps and wheel straps through the Velcro-fastened openings in the rear and bottom of the cover.

Once the bikes are securely fixed in place, fully zip up the cover, place the warning sign in the transparent holder and secure the cover further using the supplied elastic luggage straps. This keeps the cover securely in place while driving and minimises the effect of wind as much as possible.

That depends on the type of vehicle. The cover has been specifically developed for use on a bike carrier mounted to the rear of a motorhome or caravan. In this position, the bike carrier is largely sheltered from the airflow, so the cover is exposed to relatively little wind.

Behind a passenger car, the cover is generally subjected to much higher airflow. The amount varies depending on the vehicle; for example, the airflow behind an SUV is often more favourable than behind a low-slung coupé. Increased wind exposure can affect both the service life of the cover and driving comfort.

So yes, the cover can be used behind a passenger car, but its suitability depends largely on the type of vehicle and the airflow behind it.
